My latest collection obsession are antique silhouettes. Cutting profile portraits from black card became popular in the mid-18th century. These miniature cut-outs were constructed by skilled artists in a matter of minutes working purely by eye. Read more about silhouettes here. These collections have most recently become popular again thanks to several publications featuring this lost art. Country Living featured these as an upcoming trend!

I recently purchased 6 from etsy and ebay but these silhouettes are pretty hard to come by and not cheap (of course)! If you have some leads or ever spot them, be sure to drop me a message. I need enough to cover an entire wall!
