Terrain & Table

An immersive dining experience that celebrates sustainable food at its source—in the field, on the farm, ranch, orchard, vineyard—under the glorious open sky. Hosted by Kris and Shawn, the gentlemen at the heart of The Farmhouse Project, this is an opportunity to pair community and cuisine in a very special way. Tailored to passionate food lovers, Terrain & Table is a feast for the senses and the spirit. It’s a captivating way to spend a few memorable hours with loved ones—and with friends you haven’t met yet. We invite you to share in this unique experience.

Gather with us.

Terrain & Table dinners are held in the countryside all over the Catskills and beyond. We choose a new destination for every dinner, so every time we clink glasses and break bread with our guests, we embrace our surroundings anew—and share that joy with you. When you dine with us, you get a feel for our labor of love, The Farmhouse Project, for how we live, and how we entertain at home. Dinners are held monthly, beginning in early summer through the cozy, crisp days of autumn.

Enjoy the finest fare.

We invite a different chef to create a different menu for every dinner. Dishes may be globally inspired, and our multi-course menus are often themed. Our chefs bring an array of culinary backgrounds to the table, celebrating the varied foods that make our country unique. No matter how diverse the menus, the common thread is always the use of seasonal bounty and the freshest local ingredients.

Immerse yourself.

Our dinners are about so much more than food. Every location inspires a unique event—from live band performances and nature walks to entertaining talks about the venue and what happens there. Start out with informal mingling while you enjoy a welcome cocktail and hors d’oeuvres. Then make your way to our long, common table where your multi-course dinner, paired with fine local wines, is elegantly served. Finally, end the evening with good conversation as the sun sets on your unforgettable experience.

After placing your order online, you will receive an email confirmation; and after we

necessary to print it out.)

You will receive an email from us a week prior to the event with dinner directions and

cannot attend a dinner, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the event and we
may be able to transfer your tickets to another dinner. You are also welcome to transfer
your tickets to someone else. Please email us with the new guest’s name and contact

reschedule the event and all tickets will be transferred to the new date. If you are unable
to attend the rescheduled event, we will issue a credit you can use toward another
dinner.

All Terrain & Table dinners are held rain or shine. We have a tent reserved for every
dinner and will monitor the forecast in the days leading up to the event. (Be sure to
check the weather and dress appropriately.)

The beauty of our dinners is the uniqueness of our outdoor locations. Please dress
accordingly and don’t forget comfortable footwear. We always anticipate a picture-
perfect sunny day, and recommend you bring a hat and/or sunglasses (and sunscreen).
Depending on a location’s elevation, it may get chilly in the evening, so we recommend
packing a light jacket or blanket to keep you warm and comfortable. Guests do tend to
dress up a little for our events, but jeans and casual attire are not out of place.

Due to insurance purposes, we are not able to allow pets at our dinners.

The ticket price does include a complimentary welcome beverage during the reception
and wine pairings for dinner. For your safety, we recommend having a designated driver
or car service reserved to get you home safely. We also offer non-alcoholic beverages
at all dinners.

Each dinner uses the freshest ingredients of the season supplied by local farmers throughout the region. That said, our chefs design their menus in the days leading up to the event; and they will only be revealed at the table.
