TIPS TO STYLE YOUR HOLIDAY BAR CART

This holiday season we picked our favorite bar accessories you can’t live without. We’re also showing you tips to style your very own bar cart that’s perfect for holiday entertaining. Follow our simple steps and make sure you have a festive cocktail recipe ready to go!

Step1: Find a cozy nook in your home that is roomy enough for a bar cart and where you entertain the most.

Step 2: Like all design projects, start with artwork. Hang a statement piece above the bar cart or, if you already have art hanging, lean a small complimentary piece on the cart. Don’t be afraid to layer multiple pieces!

Step 3: Add your favorite spirits. We house our favorites on the bottom shelf and refresh them seasonally. Store other bottles in a nearby cabinet or buffet for easy access.

Step 4: Glassware … my obsession! Display your prized collection shop our hand-blown cocktail tumblers and mixers.

Step 5: Keep a small ice bucket handy, because most cocktails should be chilled to perfection.

Step 6: Barware is a must for the top shelf! Provide the essentials: shakers, stirrers, bar tools, a muddler, and coasters.

Step 7: Lay out fabric cocktail napkins for your guests, as well as a towel, because there are bound to be spills. (I’m usually that guest!)

Step 8: Whether an innovative aperitif or iconic classic, always have your favorite cocktail recipes on hand.

Step 9: Supply bitters, mixers, and fresh citrus. You can’t make a decent cocktail without them!

Step 10: Set the mood on your bar cart with some ambient lighting. Unscented candles always do the trick, but a great accent lamp will also set the vibe.

Step 11: Every bar cart should take some inspiration from nature. Use greenery and/or fresh flowers, and play with height and proportion. Don’t be afraid to make a dramatic statement … wow your guests with an oversized tree or floral arrangement!

Step 12: Prepare a batch of your favorite festive cocktail in a beautiful decanter for your guests to enjoy upon arrival.
