Event Details

After a challenging number of months, what better way to celebrate the beauty of community and Mother Nature than to kick off the 2020 season of Terrain & Table at one of the most iconic locations in Upstate New York? Prepare to be enveloped in the echoes of peace, love, and music as we explore a new area at the legendary Bethel Woods Center for the Arts for our first dinner of the summer in Sullivan County.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a Woodstock-themed beverage and hors d’oeuvres as you enjoy the sounds of live acoustic music by a local musician. Then for a taste of history, Woodstock alumni will share their favorite memories of the iconic concert while leading the way through the recently restored Bindy Bazaar trail system. Once the marketplace and heart of the famed music festival where attendees sold crafts, bartered for goods, and reunited with friends, the former whimsy and magic can now be felt through the bright colors of Crocheted Connections, a large-scale art installation by Carol Hummel set within the stillness of the trees.

You’ll be invited to have a seat at the long harvest table set up along the trail in the woods, where the evening’s chef will surprise you with a multi-course family-style dinner, complete with wine pairings. Inspired by the freshest ingredients of the season from our local farms and purveyors throughout the region, the themed menu is designed by the chef in the days leading up to the event and only revealed at the table.
